Cincinnati Roughed Up By Ignition
|
Belero Aguilar was instrumental in his team's 8-1 triumph over the Cincinnati Reds. The right fielder hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Indianapolis Ignition. With the win, Indianapolis pushed its record to 81-58.
Aguilar had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-1 sinker from Roger Jenkins, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Ignition a 4-1 lead. It was the 25th home run of the year for Aguilar.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Aguilar told the Indianapolis Observer. "It's as simple as that."
