Philadelphia Drops Another One, 9-2
The Indianapolis Ignition rode a solid performance from 32-year-old starting pitcher Corbin Holmes to a win, beating the Philadelphia Phillies, 9-2, at Citizens Bank Park. The losses continue to add up for Philadelphia, having now dropped 10 straight.

Indianapolis catcher Aminu Ode contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 96th hit of the season and put the Ignition ahead, 6-1.

"I told my wife I'm not changing my underwear again until we win," said losing manager Corey Barrentine. "I haven't seen her since last Tuesday."
