The Colorado Rockies picked up a win at PepsiCo Park, topping the Indianapolis Ignition, 5-2. On the mound for Colorado was right-hander Julian Lewis. He played a principal role in the triumph. Lewis yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 14-8. The Rockies saw their win-loss record go to 74-65. At the same time, the Ignition fell to 67-72.

Colorado used the timely hitting of Luke Martin to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rockies on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Colorado manager Carlos Becerra called it "a pretty good win."
