A good performance from second baseman Samuel Quixote helped the Texas Rangers defeat the London Royals, 6-2. Quixote was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Rangers. Chris Riggs was the winner. He's now 4-13. The loser was eight-time All-Star Chris Romano. Texas goes to 52-86, London to 57-81.

Texas took a 5-1 lead on Quixote's 12th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Adam Creel in the top of the seventh, propelled Texas to the win.
