Dolezal Helps Bats Run Win Streak to 7
The Louisville Bats extended their winning streak.

The Louisville Bats topped the Syracuse Chiefs, 7-4, with youngster Luke Dolezal playing a key role. Dolezal went 4-4 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 3 times for the Bats in the win. The first-place Bats hiked their record to 37-26.

The Bats got a big at-bat from second baseman Bobby Race. For the game, Race was 1-1 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Louisville a 4-3 lead.
