The Cleveland Indians downed the New York Mets, 8-1, at Tecumseh Field. Stellar pitching by Shayne Frazier had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the AL with a 2.31 ERA, handcuffed his opponent all game. Cleveland bumps their record to 24-15 with the win.

Jin-Seo Yun had a big 3-run home run for the Indians in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cleveland leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from Zachary Britt, who finished 3rd in the NL in ERA with 3.24 in 2055, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Indians on top, 5-0.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Jim Cheatham.
