The Wilkes-Barre Barons scooped up a win at Orlando Grounds, dumping the Orlando Wizards, 8-0. Connor Halbig was essential to his team's success. The Barons now own a record of 22-35.

Wilkes-Barre starter Connor Halbig pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-6 left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings.

"Connor's a trooper," said Wilkes-Barre manager Hector Vidal. "He always gives it all he's got."
