Louisville Bats starter Rich Henderson was in fine form against the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park, leading his team to a win, 4-0. The 5th-place Bats now have a 6-game winning streak.

Louisville left fielder Simon Westerhaus went deep in the top of the ninth. His 3-run home run off Norfolk pitcher George Babcock put the Bats in front, 4-0. It was his 7th home run of the season.
