The Norfolk Tides picked up a win at Coca-Cola Field, knocking off the Buffalo Bisons, 6-3. Starting pitcher Rúben Engana was a big reason why. The 5th-place Tides are now 27-29, the Bisons 33-23.

Norfolk used the timely hitting of René Rodríguez to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Tides ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Rodríguez.
