Red Sox Suffer One-Run Loss at Philadelphia
Philadelphia catcher Ignacio Mejia was instrumental in helping the Phillies triumph, 7-6, over the Boston Red Sox. Mejia went 2-2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The winner in relief was Will Fontaine. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. With the win, the Phillies are 12-26.
