Pippin goes 3-for-5, Leads Stripers to Win
The Gwinnett Stripers cruised to a win over the Scranton Dundies, 13-4, at PNC Field. Jacob Pippin led the way, going 3-for-5 for Gwinnett. Gwinnett pitcher Caleb Iyas got the win. He's now 5-3. Stew Wiggins was tagged with the loss. Getting the save was Ross Allen, his 1st.

The Stripers had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 13-2, Gwinnett, with no one out. Scranton, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Townsend McCardell dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch changeup, he hit into a double play.

Gwinnett is in 6th place in the International League Southwest Division with a record of 24-26.
