Vancouver Cascades starter Mathew Parrish had all his pitches working at Royal Port Stadium. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Vancouver win over the Houston Astros. The third-place Cascades hiked their record to 20-18.

The Cascades picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Mathew gave us a really strong effort," said Vancouver manager Drew Bohn.
