Baltimore got a terrific game from right fielder Min-Sih Liu. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Indianapolis, 7-4. Liu went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Baltimore.

The Ignition got a big at-bat from third baseman Lafayette Kaplan. For the game, Kaplan was 1-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 14th double of the season gave Indianapolis a 6-4 lead.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Baltimore skipper Chris Schafer.
