Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Knights
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Charlotte Knights and the Syracuse Chiefs, Sean Dickey was the difference-maker. The Charlotte left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The win belongs to Dainer Moran in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Sherman Cooper took the loss for Syracuse. Charlotte is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Knights procured the win, in large part because of third baseman B.J. Worth. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
Syracuse manager Aaron Calderon said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
