Barons Collect 4-0 Win Over Chiefs
|
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Victory Field.
Wilkes-Barre used a superb performance from starting pitcher Keith Shea to down the Syracuse Chiefs, 4-0, in 24 innings. The 4th-place Chiefs now sit at 22-22.
Shea confounded Syracuse hitters. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 1 hit.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Shea.
