Toledo picked up a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, bumping off the Durham Bulls, 4-3. Pitcher Xavier Hazel was a major reason the Mud Hens emerged victorious. With the victory, the Mud Hens record stands at 23-18.

The Mud Hens got a big at-bat from second baseman Derrick Mitchell. For the game, Mitchell went 1-5 with a home run. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Toledo a 1-0 lead.

After the game, Toledo manager Jose Villalobos applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
