Dundies Send Rochester Home with 8-5 Loss
The Scranton Dundies withstood a fine game by Rochester second baseman Raymond Pau at Frontier Field, to upend the Norsemen, 8-5. Pau was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. T.J. Vanek earned the save, his 1st, for the Dundies. The Dundies, at 16-23, sit in 7th place in the International League Northeast Division.

Scranton used the timely hitting of Ryan Silva to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dundies on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Silva told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
