Norsemen Topple Dundies, 8-1, as Elmore Shines
The Rochester Norsemen licked the Scranton Dundies, 8-1. Isaac Elmore deserved a big chunk of the credit. The first baseman was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Norsemen. Roy Bonilla picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-3. He struck out 6 in 7.1 innings. Rochester now owns a record of 26-11.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Elmore hit a 2-run home run off Cato Ambros. It propelled the Norsemen into the lead, 2-0.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said Scranton skipper Johnny Hales.
