Stripers Hapless Against Red Sox, Sutton
|
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Red Sox beat the Stripers.
Pawtucket Red Sox starter Paul Sutton was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Gwinnett Stripers, 7-0. The win puts the Red Sox at 18-15, while the Stripers drop to 8-25.
Sutton, the Pawtucket right-hander, went 5.2 innings, allowing no runs on no hits. He collected 7 strikeouts.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Sutton after the game.
