Hustlers Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Durham Bulls and Charlotte Knights.

The Charlotte Knights picked up a win at Hustlers Stadium, topping the Durham Bulls, 5-4. On the mound for Charlotte was right-hander Viviano Lucero. He played a principal role in the triumph. Chance Ortmeyer earned the save for Charlotte, his 4th of the year.

Charlotte first baseman Cory Mihm contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 30th hit of the season and put the Knights ahead, 3-1.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Knights manager Zhu Yu. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."

The third-place Bulls have lost 4 consecutive games.
