Late Magic Gets Charlotte 8-4 Win
The Charlotte Knights bested the Toledo Mud Hens, 8-4, at Hustlers Stadium. Dario Vega was one of the standouts. He went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Charlotte reliever Vito Lara was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Yannis Byron. Charlotte, at 16-17, occupies 5th place in the International League Southwest Division.

Had it not been for Cooper Maciel, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Knights were trailing 4-3, Maciel hit a 2-run single for Charlotte, giving his team the lead.
