The Columbus Clippers trumped the Rochester Norsemen, 15-10, at Huntington Park. Columbus center fielder Peyton Allard was terrific. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Hank Worman picked up the win in relief for Columbus, while Brandon Webster took the loss. Luther Hannah earned the save, his 2nd, for the Clippers.

Mikel Guzman chipped in a grand slam home run for Columbus in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 5 RBI.

Rochester manager Pierrick Gardella said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score that many runs, you expect to win the game."

Columbus, at 17-18, holds down 7th place in the International League Southwest Division.
