The Rochester Norsemen and Wilkes-Barre Barons met at Frontier Field to settle a score.

Shane Reed, who leads the IL in doubles with 11, had a 3-RBI night to help the Wilkes-Barre Barons down the Rochester Norsemen, 8-6. With the win over Rochester, the Barons improved to 15-15.

In the top of the sixth, the Barons grabbed the lead when Reed hit his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Tom Floyd made it 3-1, Wilkes-Barre.

"They had a good approach," Rochester skipper Rich Soriano said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
