Richard Poyser was masterful in helping the Orlando Wizards take down the Charlotte Knights, 4-0. The winning pitcher was Poyser, now 3-2. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. Orlando, now 19-12, holds down second place in the International League Southwest Division.

Ignacio Landeros dealt the Knights a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Orlando leading 2-0, Landeros hit a full count sinker for a 2-run single.

"Richard is a tough competitor," said Orlando manager Derril Schunemann.
