The Toledo Mud Hens beat the Wilkes-Barre Barons, 12-7, at Fifth Third Field. Toledo first baseman Derek Chang had an outstanding performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Owen Hoose claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. His record stands at 1-0. This win makes it 5 in a row for Toledo.

Bill Mullins drove in one run for Toledo. The 27-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Samuel McCutcheon. It was his 14th RBI of the season.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Chang.
