Bakman Stars for Bats in 4-2 Win
Mason Bakman knocked in all 4 runs for the Louisville Bats, helping them beat the Syracuse Chiefs, 4-2. Picking up the win was Maxwell Darbouze. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. The left--hander struck out 5 and walked 0. Jonjo Rogers picked up the save for Louisville, his 10th of the year.

Bakman had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from K.J. Tindall, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bats a 4-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Bakman.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Bakman. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."

The Bats improved their record to 19-13 by beating Syracuse.
