The home team gave the crowd at Fifth Third Field something to cheer about.

Jerad Robicheaux pitched well, but the Syracuse Chiefs still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field. The Mud Hens sit in last place in the International League Southwest Division with a record of 11-21.

Jason Wheeler drove in one run for Toledo. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jerad Robicheaux. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"Well, it's always frustrating to lose," said Syracuse manager Abe Blowers.
