Grizzlies Suffer One-Run Loss at Toledo
|
Xavier Hazel never let Maine get something going. The Toledo left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Mud Hens to a 1-0 win. Picking up his 1st save was 28-year old right-handed pitcher Jason Harmon. The Grizzlies, at 8-19, have stumbled out of the gate.
Vincente Orjedo chipped in a solo home run for Toledo in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
Orjedo told reporters after the game: "Runs were at a premium, so a good win for us."
