Clippers Lose at Home, 5-4

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Pawtucket Red Sox and Columbus Clippers.
The Pawtucket Red Sox used the hitting of designated hitter Floyd Uehara to subdue the Columbus Clippers, 5-4. For the game, Uehara was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dom Williams, the winning pitcher, is now 3-2. He went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 8 and walking 0.
Uehara contributed in the top of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Pawtucket get the win.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Uehara.
The loss drops the Clippers to 16-11.
