Dundies Fall Short, 6-5, at Rochester
A good performance from right fielder Isaac Elmore helped the Rochester Norsemen defeat the Scranton Dundies, 6-5. Elmore went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Norsemen. Dustin Hopple picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Isaiah Charles was tagged with the loss. Josiah Edgerton nailed down the save.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Elmore delivered big-time for Rochester, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Hunter Johnson. The game-changing hit put the Norsemen on top, 6-5.

"I hate to be the fly in the ointment," said Elmore, "but we could've played better."

Scranton, with the loss, is still a stout 16-6.
