Toledo Survives Easter Heroics, Beats Bisons, 9-8
The inspired effort of Buffalo left fielder Neil Easter was not enough to prevent a loss, 9-8, to the Toledo Mud Hens. Easter went 3 for 6 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Buffalo falls to 13-11.

Toledo designated hitter Stuart Cole contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Mud Hens ahead, 9-7.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Cole. "It made for an exciting game."
