Jericho Dahilan was terrific for the Syracuse Chiefs in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Norfolk Tides. His performance earned Dahilan rave reviews. Dahilan yielded no runs over 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-0. Jeremiah Young finished to wrap up his 5th save.

The Chiefs had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the sixth. The score was 3-0, Syracuse, with two out. Norfolk, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Ray Rousseau dug in at the plate, but on a 0-1 fastball, he grounded out.

The win brings the Chiefs to 13-8, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
