The Buffalo Bisons beat the Charlotte Knights, 4-2, at Coca-Cola Field. The win was due in part to right fielder Matt Mosley, who was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Buffalo reliever Starling Peña was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Brian Scott. With the win, Buffalo goes to 14-8.

The Bisons got a big at-bat from designated hitter Bernardo Jiménez. For the game, Jiménez was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Buffalo a 3-2 lead.

"This is not a one-man show," said Mosley. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
