Orlando Edges Columbus, 1-0, Abreu Ks 10
|
Orlando starter Ted Abreu had a strong outing against the Columbus Clippers at Orlando Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 1-0 win. T.J. Picchione closed the game out for Orlando, earning his 4th save. Orlando now has a record of 7-5.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Abreu, who tallied 10 strikeouts in 7.2 innings and allowed only 3 hits. Abreu raised his record to 1-1 on the year with 14 strikeouts.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Abreu.
