Dundies Tuck Away 3-1 Win Over Buffalo
|
In a low-scoring clash between Scranton and Buffalo, pitcher Stew Wiggins was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 3-1 Dundies win. Christian Hellinger finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The loss lowers the Buffalo record to 3-6.
The Dundies had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Scranton, with one out. Buffalo, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Alec Tart dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he struck out.
