Yorbis Pagan, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2055 draft, led Gwinnett to a win over Syracuse. The final score was 9-7. Pagan scored 3 times, while going 3 for 5. The second baseman also was credited with 1 RBI. With the loss, Syracuse falls to 4-2.

The Stripers got a big hit from third baseman Joe Preiss. In the bottom of the eighth, Preiss smacked a 2-run triple off Syracuse pitcher Daniel Leone. It was his 1st triple of the season. Suddenly, the Stripers were ahead, 8-7.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Preiss.
