Bisons Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Barons
Buffalo wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Nathaniel Helms, falling to the Wilkes-Barre Barons, 5-4. Helms threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Wilkes-Barre reliever Hector Arenas got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Max Snyder was tagged with the loss. The win gives the Barons a record of 4-2.

The decisive blow was delivered by R.J. Medina in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Max Snyder to win the game for Wilkes-Barre. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place went bonkers," Medina said.
