The Scranton Dundies and Toledo Mud Hens left the fans buzzing.

Toledo Mud Hens starter Kurt Herring pitched effectively against the Scranton Dundies at Fifth Third Field. The left-hander spearheaded his team's 7-3 win. The winner was Herring. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Tris Richie.

In the bottom of the first, Otis Barraza delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Toledo catcher hit a 2-run single, putting the Mud Hens in front, 7-3.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Barraza.

Scranton, with the loss, is 1-7.
