Clippers Walk It Off for 2nd Win of Season
The Columbus Clippers knocked off the Buffalo Bisons, 5-4, in International League action at Huntington Park. Columbus pitcher and Eagan, Minnesota, native Rick Benfer had an outstanding performance. The win went to Chris Campbell in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jace Jackson took the loss. The Clippers, now 2-0, have stormed out of the gates.

Columbus got a knockout punch from Bob Counts. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"The crowd went nuts," Benfer said.
