The Arizona Diamondbacks got a strong performance from pitcher Kason Faucher, who stymied the Colorado offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Chase Field. Faucher yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-1. Lydon Allen earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game.

Arizona took a 4-1 lead on Matthew Purnell's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Purnell hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Colorado pitcher Royce Koudou visibly frustrated.

"We're on quite a roll right now," said Purnell.
