The Boca Raton Buccaneers and Hollywood Spoonbills left the fans buzzing.
Led by 19-year-old Christopher McPheeters, the Hollywood Spoonbills knocked off the Boca Raton Buccaneers, 10-5. McPheeters was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Spoonbills. The win went to Lincoln Midgley in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Jimmy Marshall took the loss.
Seth McGill, who is tied for 9th in the FLA in runs scored with 26, contributed to the Hollywood win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
