Slumping Dolphins Lose Again, 5-2
|
The West Palm Beach Dolphins got a superb performance from pitcher Dom Bussom, but the Key Largo Fighting Shrimp still won the game, 5-2. Bussom threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Ace Goodson closed the door for Key Largo, picking up his 1st save of the year. Key Largo has now won 6 in a row.
The Fighting Shrimp got a big at-bat from third baseman Yudiel Reyes. For the game, Reyes was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Key Largo a 3-0 lead.
"The tide will turn," said losing manager Juan Flores. "We just need to keep our chins up."
