Pembroke Pines Beats Boca Raton in Extra Innings
The Pembroke Pines Herons knocked off the Boca Raton Buccaneers, 8-5, at Indians Developmental Complex. Anderson Prado was a big reason Pembroke Pines won. The right fielder was 4-6 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit 2 times. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jake Grainger earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 2-3. With the win, Pembroke Pines raised its record to 30-23.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 15th, until Prado delivered big-time for Pembroke Pines, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Emery Warren. The game-changing hit put the Herons on top, 7-5.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Prado told the Pembroke Pines Citizen.
