The Tempe Impalas got a sterling performance from pitcher Mike Donar Jr., but the Kingman Torts still prevailed, 3-2. Donar Jr. threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. Santiago Torres snagged the win in relief. In 2.1 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 2-2 on the season. The Impalas have now dropped 9 straight.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Kingman trailing 2-1, Oscar Castro jumped on a first pitch fastball from Grady Dorsett for a 2-run home run, sending the Torts to a walk-off win.

Castro described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
