Aqua Sox Get Hard-Earned Win, Stop Catch, 4-3

Extra frames were needed to settle this game between the Pompano Beach Aqua Sox and Oviedo Catch.
The Aqua Sox earned a hard-fought, 4-3 win in 10 innings at Ballpark of Oviedo. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Oviedo pitcher Ivo Cordero. Cordero went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. The 'W' lifts Pompano Beach's record to 24-20.
Pompano Beach needed the clutch hitting of Oliver Harris to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Aqua Sox on top, 4-3. For the game, Harris had 1 home run and 1 single in 2 at-bats.
"If you're not prepared, it's not pressure you feel, it's fear," mused Pompano Beach manager Zane Tharp.
