Threshers Win at Pompano Beach, 6-1
|
Clearwater right fielder Christopher Séguin had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Pompano Beach Aqua Sox, 6-1. The Threshers, now 21-19, know that wins in August count the same as wins in September.
With Clearwater leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Séguin hit a curveball from Lucas Nguyen for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Threshers ahead, 4-0.
"Christopher raked," said Clearwater manager Ted Williams.
