Estevez Stars for Threshers in 6-3 Win
|
Sireno Estevez impressed in the 6-3 Clearwater win over Sanibel. Estevez, who is tied for 6th in the FLA in triples with 1, went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Ben Moratay earned the save, his 4th. The Threshers move to 15-17 with the win, while the Sailors drop to 17-15.
Early in the game, Estevez had a grand slam home run for Clearwater. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Threshers on top, 4-0.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Estevez.
