The Hialeah Gales topped the Pompano Beach Aqua Sox, 6-3, in Florida Rookie League action at Space Coast Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hialeah catcher Liam Myers. Hialeah has won 6 consecutive games.

The Gales got a big at-bat from center fielder Tim Matsushita. For the game, Matsushita went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Hialeah a 2-0 lead.
