Buccaneers Sink Dolphins, 7-1

A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Boca Raton Buccaneers and West Palm Beach Dolphins.
The Boca Raton Buccaneers beat the West Palm Beach Dolphins, 7-1, at Indians Developmental Complex. Starting pitcher Arwin Cardinal was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Cardinal picked up the win for Boca Raton, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1.
Boca Raton took a 6-0 lead on Ned Weston's 4th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Weston hit in the bottom of the seventh, left West Palm Beach pitcher Samuel Alcon visibly frustrated.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Cardinal.
The Buccaneers improved their record to 10-14 by beating West Palm Beach.
