Hialeah right fielder Quinney Bragg played a vital role in his team's 7-3 conquest of Daytona Beach. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Hialeah. Kyle Hartman snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Abdul Khalifa suffered the loss. Hialeah goes to 16-8, Daytona Beach to 10-14.

Bragg had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch cutter from Abdul Khalifa, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Gales a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Bragg.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Bragg told the Hialeah Daily News.
