Sun Dogs Get Thrilling 4-3 Win
Miramar beat West Palm Beach at Tradition Field, eking out a 4-3 win in 13 innings. The win was due in large part to shortstop Turtle Kuhn. He hit 2 home runs. Chris Brande was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Gray Whitmarsh. The 6th-place Sun Dogs hiked their record to 10-9.

Kuhn had a game-changing home run in the top of the 13th. On a 1-2 sinker from Gray Whitmarsh, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Sun Dogs a 4-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Kuhn.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Miramar manager Gabriƫl de Koning.
