Pembroke Pines Roughed Up By Pirates
Bill Burrow helped his team muscle past the Pembroke Pines Herons, 8-3. In the game, the Fort Lauderdale third baseman slugged 3 home runs. Oakley Rodriguez collected save number 1. The Pirates, at 25-19, sit in 6th place in the Florida Rookie League Southeast Division.

Fort Lauderdale used a clutch hit from Jake Rhéaume to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Pirates ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Rhéaume.
