Gauchos Pull Even With 7-1 Victory
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Glendale Gauchos and Daytona Beach Hurricanes.

The Glendale Gauchos handed the Daytona Beach Hurricanes a loss at Osceola County Stadium. The final score was 7-1. Robby Chavez was one of the major contributors for Glendale. In addition to his 3 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 1. Glendale has now won 4 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for Glendale, had it not been for Linden Tran, the 20-year old first baseman . Tran contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Glendale up, 3-1.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Tran told the Glendale Observer. "You win just by scoring more runs."
