The Fort Myers Flamingos were defeated, 3-0, by the Key Largo Fighting Shrimp at JetBlue Park, even though John Hoff pitched well for Fort Myers. The win belonged to Chris Peterson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. John Hoff took the loss for Fort Myers. Elwood Maynard earned the save for Key Largo, his 4th.

Steve Phillips had a direct impact on the outcome. Phillips contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Key Largo up, 1-0.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Benjamino Parez. "That was the problem."

The Flamingos fall to 5-7 and continue their lackluster start to the 2068 season.
